A grain spirit made from a mash including spelt grown at the Ferme de Habaru, brewed at the Brasserie Héritage (Léglise), then distilled.
Ingredients: cereal mash including Ardennes spelt (Ferme de Habaru).
Tasting: enjoyed as an aperitif with sparkling water or soda, or as a digestif, neat or on ice.
Formats and alcohol content: 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl — 42% vol.
After ageing in Walloon oak casks, Esprit d’Épeautre will become, from 2027, an Ardennes whisky.
