Cereal brandy made from Ardenne spelt
- To be enjoyed as an after-dinner drink or as an aperitif
- Available in 20, 50 and 70cl bottles
Our wash (fermented wort) recipe includes a significant proportion of Ardenne spelt, a hardy cereal grown at the Habaru farm. This wort, brewed at the Brasserie Héritage (Léglise), is magnified in our still to concentrate the aromas of the cereals in our eau-de-vie.
After spending some time in Walloon oak casks, Esprit d’épeautre will become an Ardennes whisky in 2027.
In the meantime, Esprit d’épeautre can be enjoyed
- As an aperitif, accompanied by sparkling water (natural or flavoured) or a soft drink;
- As an after-dinner drink, neat or on the rocks.
